Whitney – A new appointment at the cinema

A new appointment at the cinema with the film Whitney: the film tells the life and career of Whitney Houston, the American singer who died in 2012 and R&B pop icon, who has marked several generations with her music and her extraordinary voice. The film traces the first steps of a young Whitney in the music world, narrating how she achieved such worldwide success, earning her the nickname “The Voice”, attributed to her by Oprah Winfrey. Singer, pop star, but also a talented actress, who lent her interpretation and voice to the cult Bodyguard (1992). A story, however, which does not overlook the shadows that have fallen on the star’s life and which have led her several times to abuse drugs, medicines and alcohol.
