Recently rediscovered among the international Itineraries of the Way, the Val di Susa stretch of the Via Francigena allows you to go through the valley and its small villages on foot or by bike on the bicycle tracks, making it an ideal destination for family trips for one or more days.
Avigliana is a bicycle-friendly town: its many cycle lanes are also open to e-bikes, which are available for hire at the Tourist Office.
In a former quarry near the lakes, there is also a rock-climbing wall, a popular destination for many enthusiasts of all ages. With its nearly forty climbing routes of all levels of difficulty, it has become the ideal place to practice rock climbing in the valley, thanks to the collaboration of the Val di Susa Alpine guides and the CAI subsection of Avigliana.
