Special appointment at the cinema with a film just released in cinemas:

Ennio Doris – There is also tomorrow: the film retraces three time periods of Ennio Doris’ life: his childhood, his youth and his success. The film tells the story of the meeting between Ennio Doris and Silvio Berlusconi in 1981 in the Marina of Portofino. Shortly before this event, Berlusconi had given an interview to “Capital”, in which he declared that anyone who had good business ideas in mind should come to him with a proposal. He immediately introduced himself to him to explain his project: a new institution that would offer savers various solutions for investing, as well as policies to protect them from unexpected events and other banking services. After this fortuitous meeting, the two businessmen met again in Arcore to found Programma Italia, known today as Banca Mediolanum, on 2 February 1982. Doris quickly becomes the golden man of Italian finance, receiving the nickname “gentle banker”. In 2008 the collapse of the Lehman Brothers company led to a strong economic crisis and Doris’s bank itself had over 10 thousand savers who had invested in the American giant. It was at that moment that Ennio, finding himself faced with a difficult choice, decided to reimburse the 11 thousand customers who had purchased Lehman Brothers securities…
