Vim corpus tulit – masoudeh miri exhibition at the Almese Ricetto

The Ricetto per l’Arte – Agorà della Valsusa – of Almese inaugurates the art exhibition “VIM CORPUS TULIT” by the artist Masoudeh Miri on Thursday 28 March.

After the great success of the photographic exhibition “The Womb of the Resistance” by Stefano Stranges, the theme dedicated to women and the Resistance continues through the exhibition of a selection of pictorial works by the Iranian artist Masoudeh Miri who was awarded the Bruno prize Carli partisan and first President of the Valsusa Filmfest, in 2023.

The works exhibited in the exhibition are part of a journey with themes that see on the one hand the experience of the artist herself and on the other the vicissitudes of Iranian women after the 1979 revolution. In a society in which every aspect of women’s daily life is regulated by theocracy, an artist cannot avoid telling it through his works.
