San Bartolomeo rediscovered – guided tours

The Aviglianese Archaeological Association (A3) is pleased to present the dates of the ‘San Bartolomeo Ritrovata’ visit cycle for the 2024 season.

This hidden gem on the shores of Lake Piccolo in Avigliana includes a Romanesque church set in a priory dependent on the Sacra di San Michele until the 17th century and then abandoned. The structure, which may appear bare from the outside, conceals a complex cycle of late Gothic frescoes and numerous mysteries still to be discovered.
