79° Anniversary of Italian Liberation

The official celebrations for the 79th Anniversary of the liberation on April 25 will be as follows

at 8.45 meeting in Piazza del Popolo (in front of middle schools)
at 9 am tribute to the memorial of the fallen
at 9.15am departure of the procession (Alveare Verde car park)
at 10am celebration of mass in the church of San Giovanni
at 11 am commemoration of the historic date in the Piazzale dei Caduti, greetings from the mayor and the Anpi section of Avigliana Anna Maria “Mara” Polo, official speech by Professor Alessandra Algostino, professor of Constitutional Law at the University of Turin
at 12 intervention by the municipal council of girls and boys
at 12.15 pm performance of the “Le Voci dei Mareschi” choir and the girls and boys of the fifth classes of the primary schools of Avigliana directed by Lorella Perugia and Serena Taretto of the Roberto Goitre Music Teaching Study Center. Followed by refreshments organized by the Anpi section of Avigliana Anna Maria “Mara” Polo in the courtyard of the Workers’ Society (council room in case of bad weather). The Santa Cecilia Philharmonic Society of Avigliana will participate in the event.
