The Avigliana weekend also at the cinema! Here’s what you’ll find on April 13 and 14, 2024:

A world apart: the film tells the story of Michele Cortese, an elementary school teacher, who seems to be about to embark on a new life. After teaching for forty years in Roman schools, the man manages to get assigned to a school located in the Abruzzo National Park, with a single multi-class of children ranging from 7 to 10 years old. Helped by the vice-principal Agnese and the students, Michele overcomes his initial metropolitan inadequacy and slowly becomes one of them. When everything starts going right, however, horrible news arrives: due to low enrollment, the school will close forever in June. This is how Michele, Agnese and the children will begin a long race against time to prevent this small school reality from ceasing to exist.
