Famiglie rifiuti zero – II national meeting

The movement was born from a group born on Facebook of over nine thousand people, families and individual citizens, who are committed every day to reducing waste and in general reducing their impact on the environment. The group is a real point of exchange and comparison on these issues. Every year the families meet live organizing themed conferences to live the comparison and sharing of live experiences and not only through social networks.

This year the meeting will be held in Avigliana on Saturday 4 September 2021 in the green Alveare park and three speakers will intervene: Andrea Suman, president of Asiv – School in Green, who will deal with the theme of ecology linked to children and how to transmit good practices not only theoretically to the little ones; Sara Ferrero, co-founder of Atelier Reform, a Turin-based company that deals with sustainable fashion that will talk about the environmental impact of fast fashion; Maurizio Pallante, president of the Happy degrowth movement who will deepen the concept of degrowth as a modern way to a new type of progress and non-regression as many think.

The day will begin with a welcome drink at 11 am and the registration of the participants, at 12.30 there will be a lunch all together in a picnic format prepared by the Locanda del Priore di Vaie, at 2.30 pm the interventions of the speakers will begin, for the children there will be themed animation during the conference.
