Beyond the border. Voices and faces: meeting-concert

The Mom, Multietnic orchestra of Moncalieri, arrives in Avigliana for the “Voices and faces beyond the border festival” with a concert of sounds, colors and languages ​​from around the world. Over the years, the orchestra has welcomed musicians of different nationalities through cultural differences, making popular music a common means of expression. In the repertoire, pieces that belong to the history of popular music proposed to the public through the rhythms, sounds and sensibilities of musicians capable, with their instruments and their voices, to make the spectator travel around the world. This year it will also be possible to follow the entire calendar of concerts online on Facebook and write directly to many musicians, talk about their instruments, their projects, follow them while they present their musical instrument, the method of construction, their history, study practices: an instrumental laboratory essay. For Avigliana there will be contributions from the teacher of the Goitre Center Antonella Rocca and the drummer Francesco Brancato who will play together with the orchestra.
The concert will take place at the Alveare Verde park at 9pm, with free admission, preceded at 6pm by a meeting with the musicians and their instruments (booking online required)
