The Avigliana cinema awaits you with a new film: Killers of the flower moon
The film is based on the novel of the same name by David Grann which focuses on what happened in Oklahoma, in Osage County in the early 1920s.
During that time, several oil deposits were discovered in the area, allowing several members of the Osage Indian tribe to become very rich. This new state of well-being of the Native Americans caught the attention of many whites, who, eager to make money with oil, began to manipulate, extort and deceive the Osage’s assets. Parallel to their arrival in the area, a series of murders occurred, with some wealthy citizens of the tribe as victims. Since the dead were all owners of territories in which the presence of the coveted “black gold” was found, the FBI decides to open an investigation into the suspicious deaths. Ranger Tom White is tasked with investigating the case and finding the killer responsible for all these murders. Ernest Burkhart, a young veteran of the Great War, married to the Indian Mollie, also intervenes in the investigations.
