Evening opening and concert at the Sacra San Michele

Extraordinary evening opening and Christmas Concert.

This year the Sacra di San Michele will have the honor of hosting the Pueri Cantores of the “Sistine” Pontifical Musical Chapel.
The Pueri Cantores of the Pontifical Musical Chapel represent one of the most prestigious musical realities at an international level in the field of children’s choral music. Introduced into the Sistine Chapel choir, previously composed of adults only, in the early twentieth century on the initiative of Maestro Lorenzo Perosi, they were officially established by his successor Maestro Domenico Bartolucci in 1956.
Under the direction of the current director, Maestro Marcos Pavan, the Pueri Cantores are prepared by Maestro Michele Marinelli and carry out an intense concert activity in Italy and abroad, as well as animating the liturgical celebrations officiated by the Holy Father.
