The Avigliana program for the European Sustainable Mobility Week includes a bicycle ride towards the two lakes on Saturday 30 September starting at 10am from Piazza del Popolo.
The chosen theme aims to make us reflect on energy consumption and, in particular, on consumption resulting from urban mobility which has increasingly greater costs for the community, not only in environmental terms. More cycle paths enable zero-emission urban mobility. As part of the renovation work on Corso Torino, the construction of a cycle/pedestrian path along the entire road axis is underway. The choice of sustainable mobility can contribute considerably to energy saving as well as improving the liveability of cities.
