14th day of the archaeological heritage of Valle di Susa – wines and alpine viticulture

The XIV Archaeological Heritage Day of valle di Susa will have the theme “Wines and Alpine viticulture”.

Avigliana’s proposals:

Castle: departures for guided tours at 10.00 am, 2.30 pm and 4.30 pm by the Aviglianese Archaeological Association (A3). Meeting in front of the town hall in Piazza Conte Rosso, duration of the visit 1 hour and 30 minutes.

Priory and Church of San Bartolomeo: guided tours every hour by the A3 association, from 10 am to 12.30 pm and from 2.30 pm to 6.00 pm. Meeting at the village of San Bartolomeo at the small lake.

Exhibition on the production and use of wine and water in the Middle Ages

Exhibition on the results of speleological and archaeological exploration in the large well of Avigliana in Piazza Conte Rosso

Municipal civic tower: 10.00 am – 6.00 pm exceptional opening on the occasion of the inauguration of the photographic exhibition on the history of the Palio di Avigliana by Giacomo Sperduti with the collaboration of the Borgo Vecchio Association. Admission free of charge
