XXV Valsusa Filmfestival : Cinema Italia

As part of the XXV Valsusa Filmfestival Giovanni De Luna presents his book “Cinema Italia: I film che hanno fatto gli italiani“ in dialogue with Alessandro Gaido, president of the Piemonte movie association.

De Luna – one of the best known and greatest Italian historians – in this book traces a fascinating journey that uses films as documents of the period in which they were made, of the tastes of the public and of the cultural climate, bringing us closer to an unprecedented reading of the way in which cinema has contributed to “making Italians”.

Then”Ariaferma” by Leonardo Di Costanzo, a film recently presented out of competition at the 78th Venice International Film Festival,will be presented :it is considered a masterpiece.
