voci in viaggio – Japan

“Voci in viaggio” gives its name to a series of meetings organised by Viaggi Solidali to recount, through the testimonies of accompanying persons and cultural intermediaries, the countries proposed as travel destinations.
On Thursday 10th July 2025 at 6 pm at the civic library of Avigliana the voice will be that of Masahiro Nakano, a guide of the city of Hiroshima, a collaborator of Viaggi solidali visiting our town. Masahiro will talk about Hiroshima: a city with a terrible past, but which has been able to recover and regenerate itself, becoming beautiful and vital. The meeting is intended to be informal and is open to all.

For the occasion, the exhibition of images and films curated by Anpi Avigliana, “Hiroshima and Nagasaki”, which the Avigliana library recently hosted to commemorate the eighty years since the tragic atomic bombing of Hiroshima and Nagasaki, will be partially displayed.
