It takes place on Saturday 11 March at 10am in the Council Room the meeting dedicated to the presentation of the development plan of the Unione Montana Valle Susa, born from the need shared by the Municipalities for a guide document that could outline a vision for the future of the territory, rationalizing and organizing the many existing interventions and the wishes of local authorities.
On the one hand, the shared proposals demonstrate great attention to the conservation of the natural heritage, to energy efficiency, to infrastructural interventions that are attentive to the environmental impact. There are many projects dedicated to the aggregation of citizens of all age groups, from play areas for children to real socio-cultural centers such as libraries, association offices, theatres… together with major interventions to enhance the assets historians, dedicated to their rebirth and regeneration. On the other hand, the proposals place the entire territory in a long-term vision that aims to make the Lower Valley a place of slow and sustainable mobility, combining train and bicycle, taking advantage of the routes of the ancient Via Francigena, but also of the Cammino di San Michele, of paths and mule tracks, between the border with France and the city of Turin.
The projects are fragments that take on meaning in a single frame that harmonizes and connects them. The image that emerges is that of a territory that reflects on the future model of life of its inhabitants, focusing on the long stay of its visitors, in search of a balance between the attractiveness and livability of the places.
