Un mondo di fiabe – group exhibition

‘Once upon a time,’ they say, as if it no longer exists today. Murder, abuse and much wickedness, oppression, violence, but also love, friendship… fairy tales are a colourful kaleidoscope of life. They are dramatic, romantic, fantastic stories, transformed at will, according to the taste of the narrator and the listener. Fairy tales that change according to the times and customs, told by writers such as Andersen, the Grimm brothers and Perrault, but also by the Italians Basile, Straparola, Calvino and Rodari… Fairy tales that are often distant, sometimes very distant from the protagonists and events that inspired them. Fairy tales that roll through time, changing their features, changing their skin… The fairy tale, as a world of possibilities, offers fertile ground for cultivating utopia and hope, essential elements for facing the challenges of real life.
