Their cry is my voice

On Sunday, September 7, 2025, at 3 p.m. in Piazza Conte Rosso, the charity event Il loro grido è la mia voce (Their cry is my voice) will take place, sponsored and supported by the Municipality of Avigliana in support of Emergency, with live music, DJ sets, social gatherings, theater, street art, sports, and food.

In the heart of Gaza, Emergency’s Al-Qarara clinic is one of the few health facilities still operating. Here, every day, more than 200 people, including men, women, and children, receive primary care, first aid, post-operative medication, and assistance for chronic diseases, in an area where hospitals are overloaded, at risk of attack, or already completely destroyed. The clinic is run by an international team together with local doctors and nurses, who guarantee continuity and trust to the community. €1,600 covers the costs of a local doctor for one month: today we want to guarantee four doctors for a total of €6,400 and allow them to continue providing care without interruption.

Every contribution brings us closer to our goal. In a place where access to healthcare is a rare privilege, we can make a difference together. “We can no longer turn a blind eye,” say the organizers of the Gaza relay. “We cannot turn off the TV, silence our cell phones, and remain indifferent when, barricaded behind convenient expressions such as ‘the fight against terrorism,’ a regular army opens fire on civilians queuing for food or water. Often these are women and children who have been left homeless, exhausted by hunger, thirst and month of bombing.
