The Voices of the Children of Gaza

The book and the project for the children of the Deir Balah refugee camp in Gaza will be presented on Thursday 27 March 2025 at 7 pm at the Il Ponte shop in Corso Laghi 20, which deals with fair trade. Despite terrible and frightening daily living conditions, the drawings of the Gazan children of the Deir al-Balah refugee camp have reached us, which will become testimony to the frightening psychological and material situation of the children and of the entire Palestinian population living in the Strip. The book of drawings and thoughts of the Gazan children also includes testimonies of those who survive there, thanks to the invaluable work of the volunteers.

The intervention on site includes educational initiatives to provide children with the opportunity to receive a basic education in a minimally safe and supportive environment, as well as providing daily lessons in Arabic and English to improve basic communication skills. During the evening, it will be possible to watch the video testimony of Guditta Brattini, a civil volunteer in Gaza.
