the presence of the goddess – in the susa valley
On Thursday 24 April 2025 from 6pm to 8pm the conference entitled “The presence of the one and multifaceted Goddess in the Susa Valley” organized by the Alma Calende Aps association will be held in the Council Hall. The main archaeological sites in the Lower Susa Valley will be presented with reference to the evidence connected to the cult of the Goddess from the Neolithic to the Middle Ages. The meeting has obtained the patronage of the Municipality of Avigliana. The conference will be held online with the archaeologist Roberta Crisarà, the main expert on prehistory in the Susa Valley, a land rich in pre-protohistoric evidence everywhere hidden by centuries of cultural and religious overlaps.
