An appointment that draws attention to questions that question society and politics with ever greater centrality and urgency: taking care of the earth, taking care of the Earth, understanding the reciprocity of the relationship by which the earth itself can cure also us.

The course, organized by Casacomune and Good Land, is a laboratory that combines theory and practice, offering food for thought and knowledge for a new vision of the farmer’s profession, its products and the market. The event can be followed online live or experienced in person, in the splendid setting of Certosa 1515 in Avigliana.

“The earth that cures” promotes a cultural change that focuses on the importance of seeds, soil care, farming models, biodiversity, the bond that unites crops to promote the value of the earth in terms of universality. The course also explores how to establish strong relationships capable of bringing these issues as priorities on the political agenda, so that they become a matter of attention and awareness for an ever-increasing number of people and governments.

THE ORGANIZERS

Casacomune, School and Actions, is an association born from the Abele Group and Libera and founded by Don Luigi Ciotti which is dedicated to the promotion of science and culture. It is a school of scientific training, cultural dialogue and encounter characterized by active and experiential teaching, capable of promoting the values ​​and actions of integral ecology and social justice.

Good Land is a young company that deals with rural regeneration through the production of organic products. It designs, develops and markets new food products that arise from a productive approach with a strong focus on the well-being of the community and the territory. In particular, it is dedicated to strengthening the relationship between producers and users with the aim of reducing the costs generated by intermediation.
