Tacciano le Armi -Exposition Ricetto San Mauro
The Ricetto per l’Arte – Agorà della Valsusa – in Almese (To) inaugurates, on Saturday 9 October at 5.00 pm, the exhibition “Silent the weapons” photos by Stefano Stranges and Marioluca Bariona, created with the patronage of the City of Almese, of Unione Montana Valle Susa and the Metropolitan City. The exhibition, which consists of 32 shots documenting the life of refugees in refugee camps exhausted by war and of Christians persecuted both for their religious faith and for being of the Kurdish ethnic group.The photos are partners of the book – reportage “Keep silent” by Adriana Fara, Stefano Stranges and Marioluca Bariona with the collaboration of FOCSIV, the English translations by Alessandra Mariano, published by Edizioni Eugraphìa in the Skepsi non-fiction series. On the occasion of the exhibition, two videos lasting ten minutes will be screened, made during the trip of the three authors to Iraqi Kurdistan last March, on the occasion of Pope Francis’ visit to those lands.
