Sustainable Development Festival 2025
‘Territories and societies in a changing climate’ is the theme of this year’s Sustainable Development Festival, now in its seventh edition. As every year, the festival takes place at the Alveare Verde park in Avigliana and is organised by the Municipality’s Department of the Environment and the Amandoli association in collaboration with Ecovolontari Avigliana, the Metropolitan City’s volunteer ecological guards, the Metropolitan City of Turin, Acsel Spa, Fiab bici e dintorni, Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale del Piemonte Liguria e Valle d’Aosta, Conisa, Pro Natura Torino, Coop, World Friends, Ente di Gestione dei Parchi delle Alpi Cozie, Guardie Ecozoofile di Fareambiente, Greenpeace, Ara Arte Restauro Archeologia and Silvia di Zenzero.
‘This year,’ says Environment Councillor Stefano Ditella, “we intend to focus on the issue of adapting to the climate and environmental crisis, a fundamental aspect in facing the greatest challenge of the 21st century, which affects and will increasingly affect every aspect of the society in which we live, as well as our territories, which we must equip in the right way so that they are resilient to extreme phenomena, which we are already experiencing with damage and economic and human losses.”
In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed to 19 October 2025.
