The Avigliana cinema awaits you with a new film: Wonder – white bird

The film tells the story of Julian, a somewhat arrogant child, who at school has the reputation of being a bully, so much so that he targets anyone he sees as “different”. Because of this character, the boy is also suspended from school. The summer after this experience, Julian spends his holidays in Paris with his grandmother, who during a hot afternoon tells him a story: how as a girl she managed to escape the Nazis during the Second World War. The grandmother was a young Jewish woman, who lived in France occupied by Hitler’s troops. Helping her save herself was a peer of hers, a young man named Julian, just like her nephew, who, despite suffering from deformities in his legs, managed to perform a gesture that made him a true hero.
