“The film takes place in Marseille and tells the story of Maria, a mature woman with a generous heart who dedicates her life to helping others, especially taking care of the elderly. Despite her commitment and devotion, Maria lives in precarious economic conditions and struggles to make ends meet. Desperate, she begins to steal small sums of money from the people she takes care of, in the hope of improving her situation and ensuring a better future for her beloved grandson, who shows a precocious talent for the piano. Maria is willing to do anything to support her grandson’s dream, and despite not having the resources, she rents a piano and hires the best teacher in Marseille to give him private lessons. These desperate gestures, which at first seem harmless, turn into a dangerous spiral, which puts her in conflict with her family and the people around her…”
