San Bartolomeo ritrovata – guided tours
The summer program of the cycle of guided tours to the Church – Priory of San Bartolomeo al Lago Piccolo in Avigliana continues, organized by the Aviglianese Archaeological Association – A3, with the patronage of the City of Avigliana: on Sunday 11 August the fourth appointment of “San Bartolomeo ritrovata”
The monastic complex of San Bartolomeo is hidden between countryside and woods near Lake Piccolo in Avigliana and offers an insight into a centuries-old history, long forgotten but which hides numerous wonders and mysteries just waiting to be revealed. An evocative journey through peculiar stories and medieval frescoes.
The visits will take place in three shifts at 11:00am, 2:00pm and 4:00pm. The visit lasts an hour. The meeting point is directly in the village, the closest car park is the Lago Piccolo car park, where, following the directions, it will be possible to reach the site on foot in 5 minutes. Punctuality is recommended. The visits will only start if a minimum of 10 people join. The contribution for the event is free of charge.
