re-explore Malano

On National Family Day at the Museum 2025, on 12 October 2025 from 3.30 p.m. at the Giardino delle Donne in Avigliana, the Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Turin, in collaboration with the Municipality of Avigliana and the Avigliana Archaeological Association A3, will present the results of recent investigations in the area of the Statio ad fines in Borgata Malano in Avigliana. New projects for the study and enhancement of the site will also be presented. The conference will involve the staff of the Superintendency and the archaeologists working on the excavation site.

Workshops on Roman ceramics will be organised for everyone, adults and especially children, to discover the characteristics of the “archaeologist’s guide fossil”.
