Opening roman villa Caselette and Primavalle Area
Guided visits to the Roman villa of Caselette and the parks of the natural areas on the slopes of Mont Musinè.
The Primavalle area, located on the slopes of Mont Musinè, hosts numerous rare animal and plant species in the national and regional range, here in one of the Piémont areas with the greatest biodiversity. A veritable “xerothermic oasis” here equally includes the upper and lower lakes of Caselette. The objective of the creation of this nature trail of excellence is to highlight the great biodiversity that characterizes this region and to attract public attention to the nature of the naturalistic composition which will equally influence the development of the historical level. These areas were also used as a magnésite carrier, once exploited in the Roman era, which was very important for the economy of the countries just after the decline of the Second World War. The career has a particular geological importance thanks to the presence of Opal here, furthermore, present of the particular characteristics of the gemological point.
The nature tours will be inserted in synergy with the guided tours to the Roman Villa of Caselette and the Roman Villa of Almese, creating a complete picture of how these places could have appeared in the Roman period.
The visits to the Roman Villa and the nature tours in the Primavalle Area will take place from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm: first visit to the Roman Villa at 2:30 pm, second visit at 3:30 pm, third visit at 4:30 pm, to the Primavalle area first visit at 2:30 pm, second visit at 4:00 pm.
