Opening Roman Villa Almese

Guided tour, led by an archaeologist and volunteers from the Ar.c.A association of Almese, which will lead to the discovery of Roman architecture and culture. Going back in time it will be possible to enter the rooms of the villa which, together with the Roman villa of Caselette, is one of the most important extra-urban residential complexes of the Roman era in Piedmont.

The Roman villa of Almese, located in the Grange di Rivera area, can be visited from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm with the first visit starting at 3:00 pm while the second is scheduled for 4:30 pm (6 and 27 April, 11 and 25 May), while for Friday 1 May the first visit starts at 2:30 pm and the second visit is scheduled for 4:00 pm

The day is promoted by the Ar.c.A association. (Art, Archaeology and Culture in Almese) with the patronage of the municipality of Almese, in collaboration with Fondazione Magnetto, Finder S.p.A., Univoca, Tesori d’arte e cultura alpina and Superintendence of Archaeology, Fine Arts and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Turin.
