Opening of the roman villa of Caselette

On Sunday 10 April it will be possible to visit the Roman Villa of Caselette on the occasion of the first opening of the 2022 season, in conjunction with the San Giorgio Fair.

The guided tour, led by an archaeologist and volunteers from the Ar.c.A association in Almese, will lead to the discovery of Roman architecture and culture. Going back in time it will be possible to enter the rooms of the villa which, together with the Villa Romana di Almese, is one of the most important suburban residential complexes of the Roman era in Piedmont.

The Roman Villa of Caselette will be open to visitors from 15.00 to 18.00 with departure approximately every hour: 15.00 – 16.00 – 17.00.

The day is promoted by the Ar.cA association (Art, Archeology and Culture in Almese) with the patronage of the municipality of Caselette, in collaboration with the Magnetto Foundation, Finder SpA, Univoca, Alpine treasures of art and culture and the Archaeological Superintendence of Fine Arts. and Landscape for the Metropolitan City of Turin.
