On the road to the Castle -guided walk

The Aviglianese Archaeological Association, with the patronage of the City of Avigliana, presents “Sulla Strada del Castello”: a series of accompanied visits to the Cinta Muraria and the Castle of Avigliana.

The visit itinerary will literally wind along the Castle road to lead the participants up to its walls, the last remaining vestiges of the ancient residence, narrating historical events, curious news on daily life in the castle halls: customs, habits, court intrigues, trades of the Burgenses, Knights, Nobles and Merchants of the rich and powerful medieval Avigliana

Duration of visits approximately 1h, departure at 10 a.m. and 12 p.m  from Piazza Conte Rosso
