Nuota in comune 2023

“Nuota in Comune” is back in the September version, the non-competitive crossing of the Great Lake of Avigliana which reaches its 15th edition, with the desire to give continuity to its history and to the reasons that led it to spread more and more among the enthusiasts: divulge bathing in the open waters of the lake, live an experience in a group, experience a moment in the medieval city with a green heart.

The event is organized by the Department of Sport of the Municipality of Avigliana in collaboration with Wellink srl. From today, registrations are active directly on the website www.nuotaincomune.it where you can find all the updates, also through the newsletter. This year to participate it will be necessary to use a buoy, one for each participant. Along the way, swimmers will be able to find distance references through the positioning of signal buoys so that it is easier to dose energy and overcome difficulties. All the content for approaching the event can be found on the official “Nuota in Comune” Facebook profile, for open water swimming enthusiasts to support those approaching the crossing for the first time.

The key elements of the crossing of the Great Lake:
Where and when? Sunday 3 September, with entry into the water at 10.30 there will be about 800 meters to cover between the starting point (Avigliana sailing center) and the arrival point (water sports club). As? Everyone at their own pace, it is a non-competitive swim and wants to represent an opportunity for recreation and movement, not a race. New 2023? Use of the buoy for swimming in open water.
