“The film is set in post-World War II Venice, precisely on the eve of All Saints’ Day. In this sinister scenario, a crime is committed and the investigator Hercule Poirot is summoned to solve the terrible mystery, even though he is retired and in voluntary exile in Venice. Poirot takes part, albeit reluctantly, in a seance, held in a spooky palace, but when one of the guests is found dead, the detective will have to get to work to find the killer in a disturbing world full of shadows and secrets .”
