leave your mark on the history of Avigliana – support the community workshop

Taking care of history, with one’s own hands. This is the spirit of the Avigliana Community Workshop, an innovative project with a strong symbolic value that aims to create a shared space where tools, materials and knowledge come together to protect and enhance the territory’s cultural heritage.
The Community Workshop is not only a physical space, but a true civic laboratory: a place where local associations and citizens can collaborate concretely to protect Avigliana’s historical heritage. It will be a fundamental tool for the conservation of four symbolic places in the city: the Castle, a panoramic viewpoint and emblem of Avigliana; the San Pietro Cemetery, guardian of centuries-old memories; the Church of Santa Croce; and the Oratorio del Gesù, a treasure chest of art and spirituality.
Thanks to the joint work of four local associations – Friends of Avigliana, Ara, Ecovolontari and the Avigliana Archaeological Association – the workshop will be the beating heart of a collective action, capable of involving residents, schools and visitors in a participatory care of the territory.
