international games month at the public library
The International Games Month takes place in November, with four meetings dedicated to children and young people. International Games Month is an initiative created with the aim of showing the educational potential of games and the aggregative capabilities of the library towards all user groups and in particular young people.
The program:
– Saturday 16 November from 2.30pm to 9.30pm: afternoon role-playing game by “La Pentola del Drago” (by reservation, inquire via biblioteca@comune.avigliana.to.it from 10 years of age.
– Saturday 23 November from 2.30pm to 7.30pm: afternoon of board games and video games with free access, from 9 years old for the videogame area, from 6 years old for the board games.
– Saturday 30 November from 10.30 to 12 “Fabulous Saturday, Adventures in bookgames”, reading activities and workshops organized by Daria Borra, for ages 3 to 7.
The initiatives of the International Games Month are accompanied by the meetings of the Edugaming Zone, a space for playing video games and socializing in the presence of an educator, every Thursday from 3.30pm to 6.30pm in the library.
