initiatives for Remembrance Day

On Saturday 27 January, the Anpi section of Avigliana, on the occasion of Remembrance Day, taking up the appeal of the national Anpi, invites townspeople to meet at the Stumbling Stones, tangible signs of Memory where the names of the victims are imprinted that will be remembered, honoring them and telling their story. The meetings are scheduled at the following times: at 10.30 am Renzo Suriani will be remembered in via San Pietro, 26, at 11.15 am Maurilio Borello in corso Dora, 45, while at 11.45 am Giuseppe Bruno in via Moncenisio, 53.

On Wednesday 31 January at 8.30 pm in the Daniele Bertotto auditorium, the presentation of the book “And then le Foibe?” will take place, organized by Anpi in collaboration with the La Casa dei Libri bookshop. in which the author, writer and historian Eric Gobetti will be present.
