a documentary about a character of the highest sporting and human standing. Gino Soldà, born in 1907, is a mountaineer who made history. We retrace his most famous feats including the Little Dolomites, the Tre Cime di Lavaredo, the Marmolada and the Sassolungo. Soldà has also received various awards for his career and his civil commitment. In 1943, as a partisan, he saved many lives from racial persecution, accompanying those in danger along alpine paths that were little known at the time. In this film we discover, thanks to the testimonies of those who knew him, the life and legacy that this extraordinary man left us.
