Festa del Tubo 2025

The Unione bocciofila aviglianese is organising, with the patronage of the Municipality of Avigliana, the Festa del Tubo, which takes place, as per tradition, in the week of Ferragosto, from Sunday 10 to Sunday 17 August 2025. The event includes open-air lunches, bocce and petanque competitions, pinochle competitions, music and dancing.
The festival is named after Al Tubo street, home of the Uba, which runs from Via Oronte Nota to the Benetti pylon. It is also said that it was called ‘del Tubo’ because the participants had to build a long temporary pipe to get the water there.

The festival has more than a centuries-old tradition: the first edition was organised in 1912 among the chestnut groves of Monte Cuneo and began when the workers of the Nobel Dynamite factory, who could not go on holiday, began to gather with their families in the green of the mountains.
