Discover San Bartolomeo
The Aviglianese archaeological association, under the patronage of the City of Avigliana, presents San Bartolomeo rediscovered: a series of guided tours at the priory church of San Bartolomeo al Lago Piccolo in Avigliana.
The monastic complex is hidden in the countryside and woods a stone’s throw from Lago Piccolo di Avigliana and offers an insight into a centuries-old history that has long been forgotten, but hides numerous wonders to be discovered and mysteries just waiting to be revealed. An evocative journey through peculiar stories and medieval frescoes.
To ensure the success of the event, booking is recommended. The contribution for the event is a free offer. Visiting shift times are: in the afternoon at 2,4, 6 pm, the visit has an estimated duration of one hour.
The meeting point is directly in the village, the closest parking is the Lago Piccolo car park, there will be directions to reach the site. Punctuality is recommended.
