celebrations for labor day

Thursday, May 1st is Labor Day or Workers’ Day, to remember all the struggles for workers’ rights, originally born for the reduction of the working day.

The program includes a meeting at 10:45 at the Piazzale dei Caduti. At 11, greetings from Mayor Andrea Archinà.

Speakers will include Giovanni Milesi, Cgil zona Ovest, Sabatino Basile, head of Cisl confederale Nord-Ovest, Enzo Francabandiera, Uilp area vasta Torino 3.

The Santa Cecilia Philharmonic Society of Avigliana will participate in the event.
