Celebration – 25 April 80 years after

On the occasion of the 80th anniversary of the Liberation, the Municipality of Avigliana is organizing the celebrations of April 25, 2025 in collaboration with the Unione montana Valle Susa, the Anpi section Anna Maria “Mara” Polo di Avigliana, the Colle del Lys Resistance Committee, Vis Rabbia, the Santa Cecilia Philharmonic Society, and the Roberto Goitre Music Education Study Center.

at 9:15 a.m. Departure of the procession from the Alveare Verde park parking lot
at 10 a.m. Celebration of Mass in the church of San Giovanni
at 11 a.m. Commemoration of the historic date at the Piazzale dei Caduti, greetings from the mayor and the Anpi section of Avigliana Anna Maria “Mara” Polo, official speech by Alessandro Bertini, student and city councilor of San Giorio. The event will be attended by the Santa Cecilia Philharmonic Society of Avigliana and a representation of the fifth classes of the primary schools of Avigliana who will sing some songs directed by Lorella Perugia and Serena Taretto of the Goitre Center.
