The film is the fourth chapter of the famous animated saga. The super villain Gru, now an agent of the Anti-Villain League, is ready to face a new adventure together with his wife Lucy and their three adopted daughters, Margo, Edith and Agnes. There’s a new member in the family: Gru Jr., natural son of Gru and Lucy, whose favorite pastime is to torment and drive his father to despair. The entire family, however, will find themselves forced to flee, when they are targeted by a criminal on the run, Maxime Le Mal and his girlfriend, the femme fatale Valentina….

The widow dedicates herself to the theoretical study of soil chemistry, vine configuration and revolutionary bottling techniques. This is how Barbe-Nicole bets everything on the grape harvest and her sparkling wine blend…
