Special appointment at the cinema with the film: Berlinguer, the great ambition:

the film recounts five years of Enrico Berlinguer’s private and public life from 1973 to 1978. It begins in 1973, when he escaped an attack by the Bulgarian services in Sofia, through electoral campaigns and trips to Moscow, the covers of newspapers around the world and the risky relationships with power, up to the assassination in 1978 of the President of the Christian Democracy Aldo Moro: the story of a man and a people for whom life and political, private and collective were inextricably linked. Challenging the dogmas of the Cold War and of a world divided in two, Berlinguer and the PCI attempted to go into government for five years, opening up a season of dialogue with the Christian Democrats and coming one step away from changing history.

The director, Andrea Segre, will be present in the theater.
