avigliana takes part in the festival of innovation and science of Settimo

There will be three events that the City of Avigliana has organized as part of the Settimo Torinese Innovation and Science Festival. The event sees the collaboration with the Metropolitan Culture Experience foundation and is now in its tenth edition. It will take place from 9 to 16 October and is dedicated to the theme of digital, a topic that will be addressed in its various forms and areas of application: metaverse, artificial intelligence, art, philosophy and digital ethics, digital agenda, Nft, cyber security, democracy and digital. Meetings, workshops, conferences, shows, entertainment, workshops and exhibitions with the aim of spreading science in a simple, fun and engaging way, reaching different audiences with particular attention to the world of school and young people.

The first of the Aviglianesi meetings is organized by the ITCG Galileo Galilei of Avigliana and will take place on Wednesday 12 October from 4 to 7 pm: “Fablab, a place of innovation open to the territory”. The technical institute opens its doors to the most curious to show the activities of its fabrication laboratory and the library will offer short readings from Primo Levi’s books.

The second appointment is instead aimed at the little ones. The usual fabulous Saturday of October 15 at 10.30 am, organized by the Primo Levi civic library, for the occasion will have digital stories as its theme and will be titled Fabuladata.

The third meeting proposed by the City of Avigliana is a walk that takes place on Sunday 16 October starting at 3.30 pm with departure from the Avigliana station to celebrate Primo Levi, not only a writer, but also a chemist and scientist, who worked both in Avigliana than in Settimo Torinese. “A variable around the corner, a walk in the places of Primo Levi” is the walk by the Primo Levi civic library, students of the fourth tourist class of the ITCG Galileo Galilei of Avigliana and professor Antonietta Fonnesu of the Circularly association.

The scientific curator of the event is Simone Arcagni, professor of the Culture and Society Department of the University of Palermo, journalist, columnist, consultant and lecturer. The Festival is realized thanks to the support and contribution of public and private bodies and sponsors who have always made it possible to organize the event.
