Archaeology in the Garden of Possible Worlds

The Garden of Possible Worlds will be officially inaugurated on Sunday 13 April 2025 starting at 11am, the new repurposed green area located at the foot of the Avigliana Castle that hosts the simulated archaeological site in its current expanded and enriched version. The Ara association, Arte restauro archeologia, therefore invites citizens and tourists to participate in this new path that will become a point of reference for the cultural activities of Avigliana related to archaeology. It is in fact a place of study and learning for everyone, with projects dedicated to schools and beyond, a space where you can experience archaeology.

Over the last few years, Ara has always worked to protect the area of ​​the simulated site from the elements and neglect, so that it could welcome more and more people. Finally, during the event, a special project for Avigliana will be shared in preview, in which participants will be directly involved, discovering how to contribute to the protection of the cultural heritage of the area. In the near future, a calendar of exclusive events will be developed that will take place right in the Garden of Possible Worlds.

Where: at the square at the Castle (at the foot of the Avigliana Castle, under the parking lot of via Norberto Rosa)
What: institutional moment at 11, with the official inauguration of the area
At 11.30 exclusive visit to the Castle with archaeologists and archivists. And then free practice of simulated archaeological excavation activities, refreshments for all participants and snack for the little ones.
