16th Archaeological Heritage Day

On Sunday, 28 September 2025, Archaeological Heritage Day returns to the Susa Valley.
In Avigliana, visitors will be able to tour Avigliana Castle and its walls with archaeologists from A3, through a theatrical tour with actors from the Borgo Vecchio historical group. Visitors will also be able to visit the priory church of San Bartolomeo.

The theme of the sixteenth edition, which will be explored at various sites based on their location and historical period, is Traces in Motion: Migrations and Cultural Flows in the Archaeological Heritage of the Susa Valley, a journey through the history of places and people, discovering the traces of the inhabitants and travellers of this unique territory, characterised by its stratification and transformation of the landscape.
